SEN1: Interactive Software Development and Renovation
Both development and renovation of large software systems are difficult processes. The sheer size of such systems calls for advanced tools that automate or aid typical tasks to be performed during their life-cycle. Suchs tasks are for example the development of a (domain-specific) programming language for a system, documenting and understanding the architecture of a system and updating the system according to new needs.
We design and use generic language technology to perform research on the design and implementation of (domain-specific) languages and to perform research in the area of software reverse engineering, software reengineering and software renovation.
